5 Reasons Why Ciara Won't Win

1. Body Party was the only good single this era. "Sweat" SUCKED sufficiently. I don't know who told her that "Sweat" would be a good song to release as a lead single. You were already falling off, Ciara. "Sweat" gave her the extra push off of the precipice of irrelevancy.

"Got Me Good" was so damn basic. Sounded like it was written and produced by distracted first graders in an underfunded music program: "My back is aching, my bra too tight/ my booty shaking from left to right" Really Ciara? Really? That was terrifying, tragic and trifling. And the video looked like "Work"s aborted child.

"Sorry" was also released as a single but it wasn't anything special. I was "Sorry" she felt confident enough to make a video for it.

2. No promotion. Does Ciara even know when her album is coming out? Like girl...WHERE is your management team?

There is nothing promoting your albums except tweets. Not even a flyer put out in Walmart or Kmart stores. Even if I saw you kneeling down to write your album/single information on a sidewalk with some damn chalk I would cut you some slack...but hoe...you ain't even doing that. C, you are really trying it.

3. Live performances suck. Like Britney and Janet you are allowed to lip-sync because you do some hard core dancing...
Why don't you just do it and turn off your mic?
I saw a performance of her on Jimmy Fallon or something and it consisted of her literally standing at a mic singing.

CIARA, NO ONE-NOT EVEN YOUR OWN FANS-ARE HERE FOR YOU JUST STANDING AT A MIC SINGING. THEY WANT TO SEE YOU DANCE.

And especially not Body Party! Your voice sounds like a baby bird crying out desperately for their mother to swoop in and save them from poachers. On this song, your vocals consistently stay as high as Wiz Kahlifa on the 20th of April...for no reason.

You need to go back and watch your BET performance with Chris Brown and see what you can do to properly incorporate that into your career again

4. Her career is reversed/stale. Where's the growth, where's the change Ciara? Why are you regressing in terms of artistry with each era. Usually it's in the beginning of a singer's career that they come out with a self-titled album in order establish their name in the industry...why are you doing that now?

Your content is getting more and more basic and there is simply NO room for that especially in today's industry. People are always looking for something different and new. Girl even your style/image has remained the same. Bye.

5.No Crowd Appeal/Connection. Sadly, in the music industry, music isn't usually the only way that you're going to sell anymore. Get over it and learn to deal with it if you want a career. People are now looking for image, personality and the whole package (sometimes even before considering how your music sounds).

Are people wondering what your next move is? Are people wondering which designer you're wearing today? Are people wondering who will be inspiring your next red carpet look?
Are people inviting you to the red carpet?

I saw that you were trying to get the people talking with the whole Future thing but sweetie...Future obviously hasn't saved your future in this career. Time to sell perm boxes.
